Cool hamster facts

So you just got a new hamster?
here are some facts your should know
 
1.keep your hamster in a completly enclosed cage, they will make a staircase of bedding and climb up and get out.
2.do not buy them in pairs, unless you buy dwarve hamsters and they are of the same gender and meet at a young age.
3.the NEED an exercise wheel and a small house within their house.
4.you should get anti-wet tail additive to your hampster water.
5.hamsters prefere natural food like seeds and veggies.

Favourite foods of hampsters
 
lettuce
raisins
carrots
sun flower seeds unsalted
celery
alfalfa
turnips
flaked corn
unsalted peanuts
flaked peas
wheat
cucumbers (although buffalo preferes the skins)
dog bisuit, the cheap ones you get a walmart work best

The don'ts
  1. dont ever feed your hampster food from your plate
  2. dont feed them potatoes or onions, they will make them sick.
  3. dont ever hit your hamster or squeze them.
  4. dont ever tilt the cage to get him to move

Remeber take your hamster to the vet if he looks ill

hamsters are fully grown after 3 months.
the live to be about 2-3 years old with proper care.
hamster dont like to be alone, dont leave them for more then 24hours.
hamsters are trying to tell you to leave them alone whene they have there ears down and their eyes half closed, come back when they are a little more awake.
 

Whats the perfect cage?
 
 The perfect cage consists of a completly enclosed cage, watering bottle with anti-wet tail addititive, untippable food bowl, exercise wheel, gnawing stone, tubes, a house for him to sleep in, and other things to keep him busy and have fun.
